But the most advanced lawnmower on the market at this time has to belong to Wal-Mart.

According to 58 year old Joyce Burnside the lawnmower chased her for over 30 feet and cornered her in between some trees. Once the lawnmower had her corned the machine cut off most of Burnside’s left hand, leaving only her thumb and forefinger. Her left elbow was also severely crushed and she endured 18 unsuccessful surgeries in an effort to correct the disfigurement.

The courts awarded her 1.8 million in her case against Wal-Mart. Murry, the manufacturer of the mower filed for bankruptcy.

Since the court believed Mrs. Burnside and felt none of this could be her fault, I have to wonder what happened to the mower.

Will it do time in jail?

Did anyone look into what motivated this mower to turn on Mrs. Burnside?

And will Wal-Mart be looking for less intelligent mowers to sell in the future?
